My Husband is My Best Friend

We were truly destined to be with each other. Introduced to each other by a common family friend, neither of us realised that we would end up together. Both of us belong to the same city, in fact we lived just four streets away from each other and never knew it! He went to the boys-only school while I went to the girls-only school and still didn’t meet during common school events like competitions, science fairs, etc. Both of us were complete opposites in every aspect. He loved being around people, I preferred my own company. He was confident, I was shy. He loved travelling and adventure and I saw the world through my books. He lit the dance floor on fire while I preferred to watch a performance on stage. I never thought about him seriously. We were too different and nothing was ever going to work out.

He wooed me till I began falling for him. A year and a half later, we were married. On our wedding night, I gathered up the courage to finally tell him I wasn’t ready for children yet. The next day he asked me to accompany him but wouldn’t tell me where we were going. To my surprise, he took me directly to the gynaecologist who suggested me to use Unwanted 21 Days, oral contraceptive tablets until I want to have children. On our way back, I asked him why he had dragged me to a gynaecologist on our first day as a married couple. He told me that he understood that I didn’t want children yet and our religious beliefs would not allow us to terminate an accidental pregnancy. He wanted me to be safe and happy. Choosing oral contraceptive tablets would allow us to live our lives happily until we were ready to have children of our own. That day, I realized that despite our differences, nobody understood me as well as he did.
